Teaching Artist Bio
As a woman of color, I understand the importance of representation and seek to elevate younger artists and inspire & support marginalized communities through my work as an arts educator. I have served on the faculty at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University and The Esper Studio and as the Associate Artistic Director of The One-One Project. Currently, I am the Education Associate for coLAB Arts, and facilitate the production of socially engaged art in classrooms, community spaces and corporate entities. I have also curated and led workshops and professional development sessions with public school teachers & administration, community organizers and k-12 & undergraduate students. Additionally, I manage coLAB’s team of resident teaching artists and serve as the Director of coLAB Summer Institute. I welcome all opportunities to educate and enlighten through dramatic and fine art.
